Concept Development (Design)

With the knowledge and knowledge that it is possible to design the products and / or systems (geometry, material (s), position (s), shape and measurement tolerances) described and described with a written specification in order to solve any sealing or vibration problem, -The institute is done by engineering. When designs are made, a minimum number of revisions and changes are targeted in the prototype production and verification tests, taking into consideration factors such as manufacturability, efficiency, function-cost from the first stages.

Prototype Production

K-Institute Engineering realizes prototype productions of sealing and antivibration products in a fast and efficient manner with effective resources used. With the tali parts and molds, the design of the vulcanization molds is done fast and error free, the most suitable vulcanization parameters are determined by using the mechanical tests and the prototypes are produced.

Testing and Verification

Verification tests of sealing and antivibration products are carried out by using appropriate apparatus and fixtures taking into account relevant specifications, norms and standards, and the results are reported by interpreting test outputs. For products or systems without test specs, test specimens are created taking into account the physical loads and physical conditions that will be exposed at the place of use of the product, and the product is verified in an appropriate manner. Intensive tests can be ordered as follows;

– Static and dynamic characterization tests: Static, dynamic stiffness coefficients, rupture / extension / adhesion strength values, energy damping properties, loss angle, damping constant values of the product are found and reported with the help of these tests.
– Strength / life tests: Under repeated loads, mechanical property changes and physical deformation in the products are detected with the help of these tests. Whether or not the product is at the expected life / strength level is determined by the data obtained from these tests and the results are reported.
– Voltage-strain relaxation tests: For products operating under high static loads, the permanent shape or mechanical property change that occurs over time is determined by this test and the results are reported.
– Material characterization tests: Various tests are carried out according to international standards and K-Institute information unit for the determination of digital material models required for analysis of elastomer, foam, plastic, steel and aluminum alloy materials using digital engineering methods. These tests are analyzed, interpreted and the most appropriate numerical model for any material is determined and reported.
